  • Think about carrying a ziplock in your boot bag. It can be used to store any key essentials you may wish to take.
  • Use a contact lens case to dispense some sunscreen into, this will eliminate the need to carry a bulky tube. Not only are they small but they are light weight and water tight too.
  • If you attach a couple of mini carabiners to your jacket pockets then you can hang your ski mittens, goggles or helmet from them. It will keep your hands free and mean you have less things to carry around or loose in the snow.
  • Make sure your base layers are completely dry for the morning, put them on a radiator so in the morning they are toasty onyour skin.
  • A spare role of duct tape has a plethora of uses, it can fix a multitude of problems including broken ski poles or torn skipants.
  • Heated pads are a wonderful for keeping your skin warm. Buy these before your travels, they come individually wrapped and last a few hours, so you could purchase enough for each day of your holiday.Wear them around your waste for added warmth and comfort.
