We love a good ski holiday, from winter through to late spring the slopes near our chalet options in Meribel offer glorious opportunities to really let it all go and have the time of your life. The area isn’t just about skiing however, with a wide range of other activities ensuring it is a destination that is worth visiting even at the height of summer.

One way to see the sights of the 3 valleys is canyoning. A summer activity that provides the chance to plunge into the mountain streams on a magnificent route, taking in treks, via ferrata, natural water slides and abseiling. It is so much fun and is even suitable for children over the age of 8.

There are a couple of locations close to Meribel that provide the perfect starting spot for canyoning, with the first dip only 15 minutes or so into the trek in either case. There are shorter routes for beginners and full day treks for those seasoned adrenaline junkies after a long-lasting thrill.
