The Meribel sunshine
Did you know Meribel has the most sunshine of all the three valley resorts? The open aspect of the middle valley means more hours of winter sunshine. You can literally follow the sun around all day. Even on the shorter January days, you will find the slopes above the Meribel Altiport area are still basking in sunshine long after the shade hits the other three valley resorts.
The nightlife
After dinner, the bars in Meribel offer drink promotions to tempt you back out. Two for one cocktails, jugs of beer, and of course the infamous Meribel favourite – Toffee Vodka shots. There is also Live Music, Comedy Shows, Guest DJ's and other live acts touring Meribel throughout the season. Our complimentary minibus service will ferry you to and from town from 5pm until 1am ensuring you don’t miss out on a thing. Or stay local, a few minutes' walk and you'll find the Tsaretta bar. A firm favourite with our guests for the traditional 'pub' atmosphere.
The resort activities
Part of the Olympic legacy in Meribel are the sports facilities, take advantage of the swimming pool, gym, spa, ice-skating and indoor climbing wall right at the foot of the slopes. Non skiers can also take advantage of a pedestrian lift pass to explore the beautiful walking trails and even join up with the rest of the group in one of the many alpine slopeside restaurants. If it’s pampering you are looking for, then you can try out one of the luxury spas or organise a massage in the chalet for your convenience.
The ski & snowboard instructors
A little charm can go a long way when you are learning to ski or snowboard. We find our guests like their instructors good-looking, but not at the price of being distant or moody (although for Orlando Bloom-esque looks, some may reconsider). Meribel has awesome ski & snowboard instructors and we know them all. Rest assured, we can find you a chirpy, skilled, patient instructor and maybe with a lovely smile as well.
