We have completed our recruitment for the 2024-25 season.
We will let you know when we are on the look out for 'couples' who love hospitality to join our fun & friendly team for the following ski season.
Are you a couple looking to run a chalet for a small and personal ski company, where you are at the heart of the business in an outstanding location?
You will be located in the mighty ski resort of Meribel, 3 valleys, the largest ski area in the world.
We are a small privately run business who place great value on our staff and guests.
We realize that our staff are fundamental to the service we provide and that if you are happy there is a good chance our guests will be too.
We employ couples to run each of our chalets.
One of you would be the Chalet Chef, experienced in the kitchen and able to cook confidently to a high standard.
One of you would be the Chalet Host, experienced in Front of House & housekeeping.
As a pair (Chalet Chef & Chalet host) you will 'jointly' run and manage your individual chalet and it is equally as important you really enjoy taking great care of our guests.
The role involves preparing and serving breakfast, baking a delicious cake for afternoon tea, plus serving a 3 course evening meal.
A love of entertaining, passion for food and ability to cook is essential.
You will also be responsible for the daily cleanliness and management of your chalet.
We will not burden you with unnecessary admin or paperwork.
It is more important that you can confidently & professionally run the chalet, produce great quality food and have a warm, friendly and flexible approach.
If you do join us you will be working with a small friendly company that values its staff.
Please drop me an email with a covering letter to highlight relevant experience and skills, a CV and a 5 day, 3 course menu plan to include interesting & varied vegetarian options and children’s menu.
To work for Ski Blanc you also need to have:
A European passport, An Irish passport, [A Canadian, Australian, New Zealand passport who has obtained a French work permit/holiday working visa], or be a British passport holder who lives in France and has a Carte de Sejour giving you the right to work in France.
If you are a British passport holder we would apply for a work permit on your behalf, so please advise what passport you hold?
We are a member of SBIT an Association who advise British workers on the work permit process. Their advice can be found here.
I look forward to hearing from you.
