Did you know Meribel has the most sunshine of all the three valley resorts?
The open aspect of the middle valley means more hours of winter sunshine. You can literally follow the sun around all day. Even on the shorter January days, you will find the slopes above the Meribel Altiport area are still basking in sunshine long after the shade hits the other three valley resorts.

Part of the Olympic legacy in Meribel are the sports facilities, take advantage of the swimming pool, gym, spa, ice-skating and indoor climbing wall right at the foot of the slopes. Non skiers can also take advantage of a pedestrian lift pass to explore the beautiful walking trails and even join the rest of the group up in one of the many alpine slope side restaurants. The ski & snowboard instructors
A little charm can go a long way when you are learning to ski or snowboard. We find our guests like their instructors fairly good-looking, but not at the price of being distant or moody!!! In all seriousness, Meribel has fantastic ski & snowboard instructors and we know many of them. Rest assured, we can find you a chirpy, skilled, patient instructor. Details of all the local ski schools we recommend can be found here: Meribel Ski Schools
