Changeover Day

Take a look at our: Changeover day arrangements.

On our Sunday changeover day we need to do a deep clean between chalet occupancies, the chalet will be available to occupy from 15:30hrs.

For early arrivals in resort: the earliest we kindly suggest you arrive at the chalet to drop off and store luggage is from 12.00 noon onwards, this allows the previous guests to vacate and for the hosts to make a start on the changeover clean.
If you are planning to ski on your arrival day, we can make arrangements for you to collect your liftpasses & equipment, get changed, and store your luggage in our garage area, so that you can make the most of an early ski.
The chalet will be available by 15:30hrs and we request it remains vacate until that time for cleaning purposes.

We kindly ask you to vacate the chalet by 09:30am to allow time for the chalet staff to fully complete the changeover clean between chalet stays.

For those travelling after our 09:30am checkout time, we can store your personal belongings in the chalet until your time of departure.
We suggest you then either make the most of your last ski day or take a coffee & wander in the village or make time to explore the shops/restaurants in Meribel centre which will allow your chalet hosts to get on with the changeover clean.
Whilst we can happily store your luggage, we cannot offer any changing facilities within the chalet as it will have been cleaned and prepared for the incoming guests.
Unless of course you don't mind using the garage to change where your luggage is stored.
We can recommend the excellent facilities at the Olympic Centre, whereby they have swimming pool, showers, spa area, towel hire to make use of pre-departure. Pampering & Spas

We kindly ask all guests to be understanding on changeover day as due to all our guests making their own travel arrangements incoming and outgoing guests may overlap for part of the day.

We do our best to accommodate everyone's independent travel plans and are sorry if the 'overlap' of guests causes any inconvenience.

  • We all had an excellent time in Chalet Foehn. It was lovely; cosy, homely and providing everything we needed. The resort was great. This was my first visit to Meribel and I'm impressed with the number and variety of the runs available over the three valleys. We managed to ski everyday albeit not quite all day every day. Particularly; I'd like to thank our hosts. They both looked after us brilliantly. The food was delicious, the packed lunches just right and the cakes wonderful. I am still shocked how nice vegan brownies can be!

  • I can safely say that all 3 families, had an absolutely fantastic holiday from the time we arrived at the chalet to when we left. From the great customer service, that Janey afforded us while organising the holiday, to the face to face contact with you all while there. We have to make a very special mention to our hosts who made our stay extra special and who were fabulous chalet hosts. They make the perfect team, both friendly and professional, ensuring that each and every one of us was catered for…which is quite a task given we had quite a few dietary requirements! Their food was excellent….the children deciding to eat with us rather than eating a separate menu is testimony to that!
